Latecoère 298

 

A torpedo seaplane of the French Navy, the Laté 298 was very modern for its time and was used mainly for combat over land in May-June 1940. Its crews were sacrificed in the heavy fighting during the Battle of France. This plane was part of HB1 Squadron in Karouba (North Africa) in 1940.

Hydravion torpilleur de la Marine,très moderne pour l'époque, le Laté 298 fût utilisé principalement pour des combats terrestres en mai-juin 1940 et ses équipages sacrifiés dans la fournaise de la bataille de France.Celui ci faisait partie de l'Escadrille HB1 à Karouba (AFN) en 1940.
